The BatMaxx 5500 is the premiere product for trainers and coaches that seek to understand the full science of bat speed and swing mechanics. The BatMaxx 5500 provides you with pin-point speed measurements enabling you to take a variety of measurements throughout the batter's swing. Then you can use this information to support your training techniques and player improvement programs. Most importantly, it gives you the evidence that your training is working and your techniques are having an impact.
When used in conjunction with a tee, the BatMaxx can:
Measure bat speed at the exact point on the bat where it makes contact with the ball
Measure bat speed at the exact point in the arc of the swing just before it hits the ball
Provide you with data of the difference of bat speed along the length of the bat. You want to know the bat speed at the handle or at the end of the bat? - you can measure it confidently with this device
Measure the speed of the bat AFTER contact with the ball. Use this information to develop powerful swings to reduce the swing speed decline once the ball is hit
Measure the speed of the BALL after contact. This helps you further understand the forces, speeds, bat variables, and inter-relationships
Measure and understand bat speed changes at different points in the arc
The BatMaxx also has built-in reaction time measurement. Use this feature to measure how fast a player can react to a signal and teach skills to bring the bat around to the strike zone better. You can also use the reaction time feature to measure hand quickness.
The BatMaxx 5500 is the next generation in an extraordinarily effective coaching and hitting improvement system. This training device accurately measures a hitter's bat speed in miles-per-hour and the reaction time from a "go" signal to the first laser beam interruption.
In conjunction with batter development programs and training equipment, the BatMaxx 5500 provides hitters and coaches with the opportunity to continuously improve swing speed and batting performance.
